Katogo is a traditional delicacy in Uganda, a dish where the staple and sauce are mixed and cooked together in a pan but of course Ugandans go ahead to mix all sorts of things to come up with their own versions. In fact, it has now become a slang word for confusion or too many things in a mess.
The name Katogo Mix, for me, came from the confusion of trying to figure out what to write about in this blog, everything and everyone seem so specialized these days and I’m so not, there is still so much going on in my life; I’m young, studying, working, and yet corrupted by that monotone disease adulthood seems to inflict and to give only one perspective would be an injustice so i decided to make some of my own Katogo; a mixture of everything I feel affects me as a young woman living in Uganda.
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do
